Want to Be an Exhibitor?

Anyone interested in becoming an exhibitor at our October Festival is juried and everything in a booth must be hand-crafted  We do not allow any buy-sell goods. Our jury is very discerning as to what is acceptable for our Festival. In addition to the acceptance jury, every booth is reviewed on site to be sure that only juried items are for sale. The Festival is always looking for people interested in exhibiting and selling their creations, and we welcome anyone who would like to apply.

To apply, download the application and the Policies. If you meet the requirements and agree to the Policies, complete the Application and sign it  When you sign the application, you are agreeing to abide by these Policies. We require three GOOD pictures of your work, an artist’s statement about you and how you make your goods, and the application fee. We try to jury applications on a regular basis so you will be contacted regarding acceptance as soon as the jury has seen your work. You do not need to submit new pictures each year, unless you change or add to your products.

We start accepting applications for the next year directly following the current Festival. We honor previous attendees first, and then on January 31, we start to admit new exhibitors. You do not have to wait until January 31 to submit your application.

About the Booths

This is no additional fee for electricity inside our large tents. There is only one area of individual tents that has electricity available.

The amperage is limited in each booth to what is defined in the Policies. You can download the POLICIES on the web site at www.bellavistafestival.org

For best results, we recommend fluorescent bulbs in light fixtures as they give more light on fewer watts.

Electric appliances may not be used. (See Policies and Procedures) Heaters, electric cash registers, coffee pots, etc. will cause breakers to cut off.

Set-up Dates

Exhibitors may set up on Tuesday or Wednesday but you must be on the grounds prior to 5pm to gain entrance on either day. Security will be on the site all night beginning Tuesday and through Saturday at closing.

Starting in 2009, due to changes in electrical, it is not possible to drive along the back of TENT B, AREA 200, TENT D, FAM, or AREA 400.

We expect exhibitors to unload quickly and move their vehicle to allow all exhibitors close access to their booths. No vehicles will be allowed on the site after 8am on opening day.

There is a specified area for trailer parking and no exceptions can be made to be fair to all exhibitors.

If you have a trailer, it MUST have our ID tag displayed on it. Your booth number must be on that tag. (In case of an emergency with a trailer, we would like to be able to locate the owner.)

Where to Stay

We do have 40 RV spaces for our exhibitors. This is dry camping, so plan accordingly. Reservations are required – there are only 40 spaces.

The Festival has hotel partners in 2009. Special EXHIBITOR RATES are available for our exhibitors. The August NEWSLETTER listed the information on these hotels. Call us or email us if you need further information.

You may see other hotels by going to the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Bureau of Bentonville and Rogers. Lists can be found on their websites located on our Links page.  In addition, there are Bella Vista organizations who host bed and breakfast arrangements in their members' homes for our exhibitors. These groups, who are raising money for their scholarship funds, were also listed in our August Newsletter. If you are not receiving our Newsletter, please let us know right away!
